How It Works
From First Contact to Hospital Admission
Every case begins with a conversation, not a commitment. Our process is designed so your family can gather the information needed to decide—before making any financial or travel commitment.
Here is exactly what happens after you contact us.
Initial Inquiry
You reach out. We respond the same day.
Contact us through our website form, email or WhatsApp. Tell us briefly where the patient is, what the current wound condition is, what treatment has been tried and what the family hopes to achieve.
You do not need to send medical records at this stage — a brief description is enough for us to assess whether our coordination service may be relevant.
Medical Records & Consent
We collect the clinical picture through a secure channel.
If initial assessment suggests specialist review could be valuable, we ask for wound photographs, recent lab results, imaging reports and a medical history summary.
We also provide a simple written consent form confirming that medical information will be used only for preliminary case coordination and handled securely.
Remote Consultation with a Specialist
A face-to-face wound care consultation with the treating professor.
We arrange a remote consultation via live video between your family and a specialist professor experienced in complex diabetic foot management.
The specialist reviews photographs and records, assesses overall health factors, provides a preliminary treatment direction and gives an honest discussion of what treatment can and cannot achieve.
Treatment Plan & Cost Estimate
Transparent options — no hidden costs, no pressure.
Based on the specialist's assessment, we prepare a detailed treatment direction document with hospital options matched to the clinical needs of the case.
Every cost estimate clearly separates hospital and medical fees, coordination service fees, and optional support services. We provide realistic cost ranges rather than artificially low estimates.
Family Decision
Take the time you need. We are here when you are ready.
There is no deadline and no pressure to decide. If cost is a concern, we can discuss alternative hospital options or adjusted support levels. If the condition changes, we can arrange an updated consultation.
Arrival & Hospital Admission
From airport to hospital — one team, one clear handover.
On arrival in China: airport reception and transfer, hospital admission coordination, introduction to the treating medical team and communication support throughout.
During treatment, we provide regular coordination between your family and the medical team, translation support for clinical discussions and updates to family members who may not be present.
Discharge & Follow-Up
Treatment does not end at hospital discharge.
Before departure, you receive a discharge summary and follow-up care instructions, guidance for ongoing wound management at home and connection to local healthcare providers where possible.
How much does diabetic foot treatment coordination cost?
Every cost estimate we provide separates three categories clearly, so you know exactly what you are paying for. There are no hidden fees — you see the full breakdown before making any commitment.
Hospital & medical fees
Admission, surgery, medications, nursing, ward stay, lab work, imaging
Coordination service fee
Case management, hospital liaison, translation, document preparation
Optional support services
Daily bedside support, translation during rounds, accommodation assistance, local transport
What should patients know before deciding?
About our role
DFU Care China is a patient coordination service. Medical care is provided by independent licensed hospitals and healthcare professionals. We coordinate the pathway around that care—we do not provide medical treatment directly.
About outcomes
No responsible organisation can guarantee a cure, limb preservation, a specific procedure, hospital acceptance, a fixed date or a final bill before proper medical assessment. We will always be transparent about uncertainties.
About costs
All cost estimates are preliminary and subject to clinical decisions made during treatment. Final hospital charges may vary from initial estimates.
Ready to start the conversation?
Tell us briefly where the patient is, what has happened and what help the family is seeking. We will review the initial information and explain the most appropriate next step.
